GM is owned by the U.S. government, so every hoax about a Toyota losing control gets rubber stamped as a legitimate mechanical problem by a federal bureaucrat. James Sikes decided to take his Toyota Prius for a ride only hours after Toyota had a major press conference. His objective was to create a news headline about a “runaway” Prius as a way to counter Toyota’s public relations effort. People all over the U.S. are crashing perfectly good Toyotas in an effort to get millions in a lawsuit.

America should be embarrassed for accusing Toyota, when their own cars GM and Ford have about 20x as much recalls.
