I had a 93′ Rx7 Touring edition, in beautiful Montego Blue. What an awesome car that was. In handling, that car still smokes most everything today outside of a Porsche Cayman or Evo. It was a track beast, and in my opinion the most beautiful sports car to ever come out of Japan.

All of these were good cars.. But the RX7 and Supra were the only ones to remain “legendary” once they were gone. The Z car is back now and a good machine too. But The RX7 and Supra stayed around in the tuner crowd because of the ability to make MUCH more power than stock.. Not really fair the Z could too. But for some reason was not as popular after they stopped selling it. The RX held its value LONG after it was gone, same with the supra.

why did the supra and rx7 only the 2 that remained higher book value? the supra still books high for a car in the 90′s. production numbers?

@nismo007 STFU nissan fan boy. Everyone knows Supra > 300zx in braking, handling, acceleration power to wieght and overall potential. Look at the number of 9 second supras and 9 second 300zxs. Also look at the number of 7 second supras and 7 second 300zxs. thats right dude.

Ok i’l agree on the GTR. But the 350Z and 370Z are a dissapointment.

Heres some surprising info for you if you think Nissan is smart with their power, consider this, my 07 Camry SE V6 can do 0-60 as fast as a 350z with less horsepower/torque, 4 doors, roomy interior, regular fuel, and smaller all season tires. Course my other car is a 3000GT. :P

Actually generally the 3000gt and the Supra are both about the same or slightly faster cars than the 300zx, don’t ask me why their testing is off but they are, MW themselves done faster 0-60 tests with the VR4 spyder which is heavier and slower. Most likely due to poor awd launching.

Much lighter yeah right, i would say abit lighter, awd aids acceleration, the nissan gtr is one of the most heaviest cars on the market yet is one of the fastest accelerating, there’s heaps of jdm 3000gts in auckland bout 1000-1500nzd most are in scrap yards mind you, not a reliable car.
