I talked to a friend. He told me he had brake problems with his new Audi A4 back in 2004 that cause traffic accidents. Later on, he can replicate the problem again and took to mechanical repair, it was found that there are oil leak in the brake pipe.. What I want to say problems are everywhere in the car, just toyota is unlucky

Toyota and Honda have been letting their quality slip for years ! they ignore problems and are arrogant . Now it’s coming back to haunt them .

That explains why Honda is recalling cars for the faulty air bags now? You people just need to admit that Honda and Toyota aren’t all that and a bag of chips.

I had a 2005 and when the tire hit a hole in the ground just before a stop sign, it did not want to stop. With full power on the brakes, at 25 mph, it took like 20 feet to stop. Then another incident was when some pedestrian ran through a red light as I was to clear the intersection per a left turn. The vehicle ahead had to stop and I scratched his bumper. The brakes then glided to a stop because I turned the steering wheel to the right mimicking a bump in the road.

Toyota is still better than anything that will ever come out of a union shop in the US or Canada.

Somehow paying your union employees $90/hr just doesn’t guarantee a quality product.

Honda is and has always been king of quality.

Should read: “Toyota is now admitting that the Japanese made Prius has brake problems and that excuses, such as problems with American made braking components, was used to try and help save Toyota’s image and damage America’s”

the cars that were manufactured in USA were the ones with the problems, so fuck you…. Toyota will succeed and pass this obstacle, and I am sure they will never open a factory again in the USA. Here in CA are zero problems with that cause all floats come from Japan..

I know both friends and family that just swear by Toyota. Up and down they go praising Toyota. Yet they always seem to be in denial about their problems. Coil packs going bad on a brand new Tacoma, or how about the classic Toyota Camry blowing oil smoke from bad seals, or better yet the “weird” problems in the electrical system that act like a bad computer in a brand new Tundra. But they always say the same basic thing. It’s just a one off problem, and that’s not normal. Toyotas arent that great
