Volkswagen Tiguan Video Review – Kelley Blue Book – VW

FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT: www.kbb.com 2009 VW Tiguan. Billed by Volkswagen as the GTI of compact SUVS, the sporty Tiguan offers roughly the same compact dimensions and fuel economy as the industry leading Honda CR-V, but in a package that is decidedly more sporty and upscale. While the Tiguan offers features unavailable on the CR-V, such as a manual transmission and a massive full-cabin glass panel sunroof, it also costs significantly more. In fact for the price of the entry-level frontwheel-drive Tiguan, consumers could pick up a nicely equipped CR-V EX with all-wheel drive. Still, the 200-horsepower turbocharged Volkswagen Tiguan has many desirable features, including a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system capable of real off-road adventures. The ‘SE’ trim is called ‘Wolfsburg’. Pretty cool! I’m gonna get a Tiguan with 4Motion Wolfsburg model [in the near future, of course... I gotta save money for it in a few years and hopefully I'll get a well-paying job in order to keep it running]. I would use it for the snow and city driving mostly. I would gop with Alpine Gray, Candy White, or definitely the Black color for the Tiguan. I made my FINAL choice for my next car.

we are awaiting our base Tiguan Comfortline just like the one in the video – pretty excited after driving a 2002 Sienna and a 1988 300ZX for a number of years! Hope the snow stays around so we can test the 4 wheel drive

this car’s so ugly, its so badly proportioned, the back looks like a giant laundry tub and the hood is far to long in relation to the cabin, its such a geeky looking car in my opinion.

For it’s price I think of this as VW’s XC70 they have a lot of the same ideas but the Volvo is just a tad more premium.

Very nice car. I was lucky enough to be given a 2.0 tdi 170 6 speed manual to try out for a week. Very impressive drive.

I just bought a Tiguan Comfortline (only drove Acura before this) and I love that it’s a perfect size — not too big not too small — perfect for suburban moms who are too cool for minivans or large SUV’s ;) No complaints except for 2: it’s a wee bit pricey (but worth it) and also you’re tempted to speed because driving it is really fun. In fact, I got my first speeding ticket in 20 years!!! :( damn
