What year did Toyota Rav4 switch to electronic fuel injection?

I am looking to buy a used car for my daughter and the old Rav4 has no power. Toyota swiched from throtle body to electeonic fuel injection and I would like to know what year.

    All Rav4s have been multi port fuel injected.

    They were always efi.
